在高档餐厅用手吃Bar Bites!

谁说在高档餐厅里,就不能用手吃东西?设在滨海湾金沙的意式高档餐厅Caffe B最近就推出他们最新的Bar Bites餐点,不止价格合理,这些小吃用手吃也特别有味道!

八道新菜色中,我最喜欢这道烟熏鲑鱼脆饼 (Smoked Salmon on Almond Biscuit) 。饼皮虽然厚,但一点也不干,反而散发一股浓浓的杏仁香。鲑鱼是当天新鲜引进的,而且不加任何调味,只是稍微把它微醺。

味噌鳕鱼汉堡 (Miso Chilean White Cod Burger) 也是必点,每个汉堡里有两块炸至酥脆的鳕鱼块,配搭焦糖炒过的洋葱、番茄、干酪以及小黄瓜,你真的可以用“初恋”来形容这道菜。一开始的甜、后来感受到它的苦,最后带点酸,叫人惋惜且揪心。老实说,它真的很开胃,卖相也相当诱人。


这道菜刚端上来的时候,我心想….原来意大利人也爱吃鱼丸!其实那是莫扎里拉奶酪(Mozzarella Cheese balls)。

奶酪球其实挺清淡的,不像市面上用来做披萨的来得咸,但它和鱼丸一样,有弹性且爽口。这道鸡肉串烧 (Chicken & Japanese Leek Skewers) 是老板混合日式料理研发出的混合式料理。鸡肉在拿去烧烤前,加入了优格和柠檬汁腌制,以增添顺滑的口感。据说,连老外吃了都赞不绝口!

金枪鱼有丰富的DHA,是优质的健脑保健产品。但一些小朋友可能会觉得它太腥,而拒绝下肚。但是这道菜,决定会引起小朋友们的兴趣与食欲,因为厨师在墨西哥卷饼(Crispy Maguro Taco)里融入了很多颜色的蔬菜,并把金枪鱼藏在蔬菜堆里,让小朋友一时间也难以察觉!老板说,每个卷饼的大小不一,不是偷工减料,而是厨师现场揉面团做出来的,包含满满的诚意与祝福。

而如果你喜欢吃牛肉的话,千万不要错过这些特制的牛肉汉堡:牛颊肉汉堡(Beef Cheek Patty)、和牛腿肉牛肉汉堡(Wagyu Rump Beef Burger)以及牛肚汉堡(Beef Tripe Burger)。

“Where shall we go for supper tonight?” A familiar question? The torment of every foodie in Singapore- which place to go for supper. Marina Bay Sands would never have crossed my mind, but after tonight’s venture into the unknown, Caffé B Bar is definitely the top few on my list for a nice chill supper night with friends.

Situated at the 1st story of The Shoppes, their newly launched Bar Bites available at Caffé B Bar delivers excellent yet affordable pub grubs with a spectacular view of the Singapore skyline, ensuring that you’ll have a pleasant evening to dine and unwind. Do not be fooled, although Caffé B prides itself as a Japanese-Italian fine dining establishment, Caffé B Bar serves up authentic greasy international chow with artistic finesse.

My favourite type of satay is the beef tripe satay, hence you could imagine my happiness when I found the Beef Tripe Burger on the menu. With the size a little larger than your usual slider burgers, the tender richness of the tripe is balanced perfectly with a slice of Gherkin pickles, ensuring that it’s not too overwhelming for your late night indulgence. 

What could be better than a peanut butter sandwich? A peanut butter sandwich with wagyu beef of course! The Wagyu Rump Beef Burger proves to be an interesting regeneration of a childhood delight. Succulent grilled wagyu slices paired with the gooey goodness of the peanut butter makes for an excellent host, pampering your tastebuds and leaves you craving for more. 

Afraid of the extra pounds or just simply not too hungry? Satiate your late-night munchies with the Deep Fried Potato Skin. This is no run-of-the-mill grease food! Each potato shell is piled with a generous serving of Chili Con Carne, garnished with coriander and showers of melted cheese. 

You’ll never snack on biscuits alone after you’ve tried their Smoked Salmon on Almond Biscuit. This is truly an artistic creation of balance by the chef. The sweet buttery goodness of the almond biscuits that crumbles in your mouth plays great compliment to the savoury Smoked Salmon – a balance of taste. The soft mouthfeel of the smooth guacamole presents polarity against the crusty firm biscuit. 

Accompanying the new menu launch is their 1-for-1 Mojito Cocktails! So the next time you are oscillating between supper places with your friends, why not settle for Caffé B Bar instead?
