30元有找的顶级意式午餐 Three-course Italian lunch that costs less than $30!

谁说到高档餐厅用餐,荷包就一定大出血?位于滨海湾金沙 (Marina Bay Sands) 的顶级意大利餐厅Caffé B,最近推出簇新的高级午餐配套,除了主食,还包括前菜与甜点,每人只需付$20+/$25+即可享用!

开业近5年的Caffé B集合公众和食客的反馈,重新设计了他们颇受欢迎的午餐配套。记者尝试了他们的新菜色,总结“五大之最”

 

最开胃:意大利油醋汁沙拉 Chicken Breast and Mizuna Salad in Orange Vinaigrette

酸酸甜甜的油醋汁,配搭柔软的鸡胸肉块,和爽脆的蔬菜,让还没完全苏醒的味蕾马上被唤醒。咸味来自顶级的山羊奶酪片,让整道菜多一份惊喜。

最超值:香煎和牛排 Wagyu Striploin Tataki

撇开在商业区用餐不说,原本就价格不菲的和牛肉,出现在已经很划算的菜单中,让人更加确定老板采取的是薄利多销的策略。虽然牛肉可选择要几分熟,不过老板建议,7分熟的肉质最佳,咬起来有弹性。特制的黑胡椒酱汁也让牛肉提味不少。

最热门:香煎鲈鱼 Barramundi in Confit of Citrus

老板说,这道菜是热点之一。为了增添这道菜的独特性,鲈鱼在烹煮前已长时间浸泡在由柠檬、葡萄柚和酸酐制成的酱汁来腌制。这也是为什么,在吃的时候,除了可以吃到鲈鱼的鲜甜,也能吃到一口淡淡的柑橘香。

最鲜美:海鲜意大利面 Penne with Fan Scallop

微辣,但喜欢吃海鲜的朋友绝对必尝!选用的扇贝都是每日新鲜进口,肉质肥美,配搭微辣的酱汁简直天衣无缝。

最幸福:意式粗粉布丁 Azuki Semolina Pudding

老板是日本人,所以在一些佳肴里头会融入日式的元素,这道甜点是我吃过最完美的日意式混搭的佳肴。底层饼皮非常爽脆,配搭由杏仁片、葡萄干和红豆制成的布丁,感觉有点在吃德国乳蛋饼(Quiche)的感觉。上头更有一层甜而不腻的奶油和胃酸的草莓片,让人感觉这顿餐因为这道菜而完美,圆满了。

午餐套餐分为$25+ 和 $20+的套餐,$25+的套餐只限周一至周五。用餐时间为中午12点到下午3点。

Nestled at the heart of Marina Bay Sands, Caffé B occupies 2 floors of the integrated resort, with a rustic traditional-themed restaurant at B1 and a modern casual alfresco bar just above it at L1. Hearing that they are having a set lunch promotion, I decided to try it. For an affordable price of S$25++, you will be treated to a tantalising 3 course Italian Japanese fusion meal.

You will embark on your gastronomic journey with an appetiser that will transport you across two time zones. The Chicken Breast and Mizuna Salad in Oranges Vinaigrette is a refreshing dish that will awaken your senses. It combines the best of both Japanese and Italian fares, served with fresh Italian tomatoes, the hallmark of Italian cuisine and played with a vibrant overture of zesty oranges, typical of Japanese cuisine. Combined with thinly-sliced tender, thyme-cured chicken breast, the dish is sure to drive your tastebuds in wanting more.

Guests will be spoilt for choice with 3 equally appealing selection of piatto principales, a Wagyu Striploin Tataki, Barramundi in Confit of Citrus or a Trio Tomato Risotto. Being a self-proclaimed and self-professed carnivore, the choice was obvious with the Wagyu Striploin Tataki.

Although it does not adhere strictly to the Japanese Tataki method of preparation, the generous serving of striploin was grilled to perfection, complemented perfectly with the yuzu koshu sauce that gave it an extra kick of spices. The well-marbled striploin will see to it that every bite of the steak is tender and juicy.

No meal is complete without desserts and their Azuki Semolina Pudding will leave you blissful and repleted, ready to take on the rest of the work day. The renowned Azuki red bean makes a special appearance here, playing a perfect accompaniment to the modest pastry base.

Caffé B will definitely be a candidate for a quiet and peaceful Japanese-Italian nouvelle cuisine at reasonable prices. If you are looking for a posto to ease up the mid-day blues, head upstairs to Caffé B Bar, where you will be treated to a panoramic view of the Singapore River and the City’s skyline, that is sure to provide a much needed perk-me-up.
