A 47-year-old woman who travelled to Wuhan with her family, was yesterday confirmed as the first Singaporean with the virus.
She was one of the 92 Singaporeans evacuated from the city on Thursday.
The Ministry of Health said the woman was asymptomatic when she boarded the Scoot flight.
But upon arrival at Changi Airport, she was found to have a fever during a medical screening, and was taken to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) — where she tested positive.
MOH also confirmed two more cases yesterday, bringing the total number of those infected with the virus, to 16.
Both the latest cases are Chinese nationals who had travelled to Wuhan. All three cases are in stable condition.
